When I heard the Robin LaFevers was writing another book related to the His Fair Assassin series, I might have squealed a lot with excitement. I loved that series so much, so you can imagine that I was incredibly sad when it ended. I kept hoping for more, and now we will soon be getting it in the form of Courting Darkness.
If that cover alone isn't enough to persuade you to read it, the synopsis should be. Sybella was one of my favorites of the assassin nuns. She was so badass and went through so much pain in her story. I loved her relationship with Beast and hope that it makes an appearance in this much anticipated release.
If you have not yet read her His Fair Assassin series, I highly recommend doing do before this release. It is an amazing series of books.
